– General stock market health, here and abroad, and improving investor confidence will prove to be the transmission mechanism for healthy IPO outcomes in 2025.

– It remains somewhat of a black-art as to how best to pitch a winning IPO. Vendor consideration, post transaction ownership structure, probable earnings growth trajectory, C-suite and board composition and the right sponsoring broker are all influential elements. Thats before the gambol between vendor and professional investment managers commences over the appropriate valuation (PE).

– Nothing succeeds like success in the equity capital markets business. Good IPO’s inevitably leave the maddening crowd wanting more. The June public listing of Guzman y Gomez being a case in point.
